The Tuareg are a Berber people of the Sahara, in Morocco, Algeria, Mali, and Niger, with a long metalworking tradition carried by hereditary smiths. Their earrings, known as elkiss or eraf wa n tesabit, take a pointed form long associated with protection against the evil eye, misfortune, and illness.
These hoops keep the engraved character and pointed silhouette of that form, reduced in scale for daily wear.
Solid 18k gold, yellow or white. 16 gauge. Set with four 2mm round stones. Available in emerald, ruby, blue sapphire, black diamond, white diamond, and amethyst.
Made to order. Pieces require four to six weeks to produce before shipping. Each gemstone is naturally sourced, so slight variation in color and tone from the images is expected.
