Amora, meaning "bird," and Adera, translating to "to entrust," both derive from Amharic, the Ethiopian language. In this region of Africa including Egypt, birds, notably the sparrow depicted in our emblem, carry profound symbolism, representing transformation, freedom, and wisdom.

How We Started
Sophia Lovella, the founder and CEO of Amora Adera, is Colorado-born of African descent. Sophia's upbringing has been a mosaic of international experiences. Through her journeys, she cultivated a passion for collecting jewelry and accessories. A way to bring back home a memory and story from each trip, as each piece carried a narrative she delighted in sharing. Each piece of jewelry became living art representing global interconnection.
